  • Cover Supervisor / HLTA, January 2025

    Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm (FTE 1.0, 32.5 hours/week) 

    Salary range Grade 6, FTE £25,992 to £28,163 (Actual salary £16,165 to £16,422) 

    Term-time only, plus 5 INSET Days 

    Start date: January/February 2025 

    We are looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor/HLTA to join our team, 38 weeks per year with the working hours to be agreed with the successful candidate. The purpose of this role is to provide class cover from EYFS to KS2 to release teachers during PPA, cover absences and management time.

  • Lunchtime Supervisor

    Part time, Fixed Term one year contract, Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

    We are looking for a professional and friendly Lunch time supervisor to join our team and 

    to be responsible for the children during the lunchbreak. 

    Areas of responsibilities & key tasks; 

    • To supervise the children in a calm and positive manner in line with our School Vision 
    • To be responsible for the health and safety of the children 
    • You will either be stationed in the lunch hall or outside on the playground 
    • To send children with injuries & first aid needs to the school office 
    • To help ensure good eating habits, manners and good behaviour 
    • To monitor any unruly or unsociable behaviour by the children according to the School's Behaviour Policy 
    • To ensure no child is alone and unhappy during their lunch break 
    • To check all areas of the school on a regular basis when the children cannot play outside 
    • To report any serious incident to the DSL or a member of SLT 

    Please note: this is illustrative of the general nature and level of responsibility of the role. It is not a comprehensive list of all tasks that the postholder will carry out. The postholder may be required to do other duties appropriate to the level of the role, as directed by the headteacher or line manager.
