What better way to round off a fantastic Sports Day than with the FOTS Summer Fayre! A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes, volunteered on stalls and came along to support. Events like these bring our school community together and create the memories that our pupils cherish long after they leave Trinity. Year 5 had a fantastic time taking part in a water sports activity session at the Eyot Centre recently. Throughout the morning they embraced new challenges, developed their teamwork skills, built confidence, and learned a range of exciting new skills. It was wonderful to see them supporting one another and stepping outside their comfort zones in a safe, supportive, and inspiring outdoor environment. Thank you to the staff at The Eyot Centre and our parent volunteers.

A huge well done to our fantastic Year 5 pupils for successfully achieving their Mayor of Henley Silver Award. As part of the challenge, they completed an impressive 8-mile expedition around the Henley area, demonstrating excellent teamwork, perseverance, and determination throughout the journey.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Miss Hart, who has coordinated the Mayor of Henley Award programme for many years. Through her support and guidance, pupils have been encouraged to volunteer within the community, raise money for charitable causes, and build important life skills that reflect our school values and vision.

The Mayor of Henley Award recognises commitment to community involvement, personal development, and physical accomplishment — qualities our pupils have shown brilliantly.

Congratulations to all the Trinity pupils who took part in the Schools Triathlon at Abingdon School. They showed great team work and support for each other. Thanks also to the children and those who supported them in their fundraising efforts.

We are delighted to have been selected to pilot a new digital reading library, which is the initiative of Henley-based charity eLibraries for Schools. The charity is dedicated to giving children better access to books by providing them with a digital library that offers a broader choice of titles than a traditional school library. Our Year 6 Reading Champions have been trialling the system for weeks and now we are rolling it out to pupils in Upper Key Stage 2. As a school that champions a love of reading, we are thrilled to have this opportunity to give pupils access to over 360 titles, completely free of charge.

Year 4 pupils completed their Mayor of Henley Award by taking part in their final expedition. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to the parents who accompanied them. We are especially proud of all of the wonderful ways that children have embraced this award, such as supporting the elderly in the community by ringing them up each week and having a chat, volunteering for Trinity Church groups, visiting residents in local care homes, walking a marathon over the course of 6 weeks, training for a triathlon, learning a new instrument and learning to cook (some fabulous roast dinners and delicious puddings!)
